Electronics and cold weather ??

Do you bring your electronics in when below freezing temps are predicted ? I never have but wondered if maybe I should.

The electronics come off the boat anytime its parked.

Electronics always off the boat when parked. This is a good time for fuel stabilizer as well.

Why is the boat gonna set long enuff for stabilizer

the fish have ta eat in the Winter also

Thanks guys. I usually leave mine on the boat but its easy enough to remove them. Probably a habit I should get into.

Oh yea, I never take the electronics off mine "or anything else for that matter"

but then I live in the boonies also

Wevans, I live in the boonies as well. Thats probably why I always leave them on the boat. If somebody wanted them bad enough to fight the hounds in the yard they can have them !!

Leave mine on.

Depth finders-had too many fog up taking them in and out of a warm house to the cold. Got a couple in the shed now that work fine, but they lost the nitrogen seal and fog up.

Radios-mine are under the console fairly protected.

I also have drove two hours to the landing only to find out that I forgot one of them at home, more than once (kinda like nets, huh TC).

So I just leave them in the boat now and cover them up.

I take them off. I have had (more than one time) the lcd's {liquid crystal display} freeze up. It wasn't a big deal though they thaw out when powering up but seem sluggish at first.
