Rodbow- according to that formula, you are correct. An 8/8 would be the equivalent of rather large swells. Those would make for a fun ride in any boat....especially a jet skii

It was more of an analytical question, not a practical one, I gave the specifications of 8 for graphical representation. 8x8 being square, but I omitted the current/speed and 8x8 would not necessarily be square, unless you added current and wind speed.....But my point was the time the wave becomes rectangular (APD<WVHT) in relation to wave height would equal choppy......I’m going to get some coffee now….
