In this sustained warmer weather pattern where would you
esteemed experts expect to find trout?
Creeks, flats?
Any ideas appreciated!

warm weather
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
Not so sure about that.wevans wrote:Aint no one been able ta figure that out so far this year
I've been out of the water over the holidays

Mid day very shallow over hard bottom on a rising tide as near as I could to a deep water channel. Any moving water should help. I tend toward the 1/4 moons because the shift in tide is slower & in winter that seems to make it easier to locate lethargic fish (but we're New this weekend).
The recent Keaton report was also useful. The moral of that story was - "painfully slow".

Good advice, Lit...look for tidal creeks with depths to 5-6+ foot holes at high tide...Fish the west banks that have shallow flats, more sun exposure...Slow and on the bottom...water is very cold....High tides between 1100/1400 are good tides this time of the year as well....Littoral wrote:Mid day very shallow over hard bottom on a rising tide as near as I could to a deep water channel.
