I agree. I bought a yamaha from them as it was the best price I could find on a new motor. Then get them to ship it to a GA address...no sales tax.

Any other experiece with www.boats.net?

I have been looking at the http://www.boats.net mentioned by pennfish and wonder if anyone else has had experience with them. The prices seem good but the site says they do not ship Yamaha or Honda engines and they come without controls. Lake Placid is a long way but I could get there on a work trip sometime if the pricing makes it worthwhile.

The salesman I dealt with was Skip. The motor was shipped via UPS.
