Should of stayed home!

Post by rocket »

Headed for Aucilla in hopes of finding a red or two. Started the day changing my friends blown trailer tire on the side of 98.
Talked with the man at JR's, and he had no good reports, but advised we head west instead of east.
We fished Pinhook, Black Rock creek, Cow creek, and some honey holes in between.
Had one trout bite a grub, but he turned loose right after. Saw some trout, and probabally 12 mullet.
The man came by to get a report from us on his way back in (they looked pretty damn cold on that airboat) and informed us everyone else he encountered had not caught a thing.
Threw spoons, grubs, and even threw some shrimp, nada!
It was good to be back out there, but I sure would have liked to have brought home supper.

...and the place just looks like fish!
Where could they be? Fish or not, your report is much (much!) appreciated.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.
