Keaton Beach 2/7/05 Short and Not So Sweet.

Post by birddog »

Started fishing around 8:30 a.m. Quit about 5:00. Caught 1, 20" trout in Crooked Creek about 12:00p.m. and 1, 21" trout around 4:30 p.m. in Little Spring Creek. Caught both fish on Stike Kings "Redfish Magic" spinnerbait with a rootbeer/red glitter grub. It was cold, cloudy, and windy but I loved every minute of it.

Why does the time pass so quickly out on the water and so slowly when you at work? Can't wait until next time.

Nice report. Thank you. I appreciate all the reports, the good ones and the "nice day on the water ones". Here's why:
Two items I noticed from the limited reports recently:
Fish caught on CT & Spinnerbaits. Fish would aggressive, or at least reactionary, to strike those baits. Add to it that both reports caught fish late in the day & a couple puzzle pieces fit. Of course it's a brand new picture everyday but I know I'd put on a CT in the afternoon and certainly go top water.
