Left Mashes Sand ramp about 9:00, air temp. 55, water temp. 59 and choppy. A nice 10-15 mph breeze blowing.

Headed up river and fished until 3:00 at several different spots. Used live shrimp on the bottom, live shrimp under cajun thunders, jigs, spoons, the whole arsenal and no luck. Got one bite in a sheltered spot on the river on a live shrimp on the bottom, otherwise, nada.

Stopped and dropped a bait under the 98 bridge on the way back, also nothing. Winds picked up in the afternoon to about 25 mph. Headed back to the ramp in 1-3 footers.

No fish, but better than work.

Sorry about the luck, Dawg. Makes me feel a little better, seeing how it will Easter before I am back again. Doesn't look like I am missing any fish.

I don't think I could have picked a worse day to try to fish. High winds, low tides, and cold, but if you drive 4 hours to get there, you better damn well fish.
