New fish measuring rules in place

Total Length Measurement
Fish regulated by total length are measured from the tip of the jaw or tip of the snout with closed mouth to the farthest tip of the tail with the tail compressed

Fork Length Measurement
Fish regulated by fork length are measured from the tip of the jaw or tip of the snout with closed mouth to the center of the fork in the tail.

So for trout and redfish you will be able to keep smaller fish and have to throw back a 27" red cause if you pinch his tail, it will go over the mark...Is that the way you guys read it?

Yep :thumbup: course I don't much care for a Red thats over 25 inches know how :o they just don't taste that good :-D :beer:
