Post by coolrowcamping »

DID ANYBODY HAVE ANY LUCK CATCHING PIN FISH THIS WEEKEND, OR DO YOU KNOW IF KEATON BEACH MARINA HAS ANY FOR SALE! WE ARE PLANNING ON GOING OFFSHORE THIS WEEKEND IF THE WEATHER ALLOWS, AND DONT WANT TO GO IF WE CANT CATCH ANY LIVE BAIT. WE DID NOT HAVE ANY LUCK 2 WEEKENDS AGO, WE TRIED LIKE 5 STOPS IN 10 FT UP TO 35 FT AND NO LUCK!

DS has it right. $8 a dozen. If I cant get pinfish I usually stop over some sand and catch squirrel fish. They work as good or better as pinfish. You can use sea bass too but they have to be keepers. :smt012 Right now I would go out even if I had to use a bare hook. Might want to try trolling with some stretches this time of year. I need some salty air. :smt010
