Well, in case y'all haven't figgered it out, it's cold and wet out there.

I launched at The Fort. avout 0740 and headed south and east. Went to some spotty bottom that has produced early in the year in past years. Water temp was 52 degrees. Moved around looking for bottom and higher water temp. The warmest water I found was 55 degrees.

The water temp has dropped with this little cold snap. Nothing was moving. Saw a few birds diving on bait, but couldn't find the bait, or the fish.

Back on the trailerat 1200, frozen!

NOT A BITE!
What was I supposed to do today?

We went out yesterday and got one redfish and one sheepshead up above the power plant. A hole up that way produced that, and a bunch of little bites on shrimp on the bottom.

Yesterday was nice, though.

TC: You are THE man...and tough to. Sux about "NOT A BITE."
