Keaton 3/5

Post by dstockwell »

Today was a family kinda of outing on the water, and we had a nice time, but could have been much better from a catching standpoint. Did not burn the oil trying to get there but that could have been the downfall. Myself, Son, Wifey, and dogs all arrived at Keaton Marina around 8:15 and all 6000 live shrimp were gone, had to settle for some frozen and try artificials. The forecast was pretty close to right, except do not believe the temp made it. Catching was slow and had a few short Trout, wife got a puffer, and we had two keeper Flounder. All in all nice day, and good to be out there.

Good to hear about some quality family time. Sounds like you had funny even if the fish weren't bitting to well, and it beats mowing the lawn...
