St. Marks 3-5

I was invited out with JoeFisher and Redman. Left St Marks around 8ish and headed for some spots south of 24. Never went deeper than 30 ft. Redman boxed a nice 28" gag. A number of grunts and a black sea bass also came home with us. Based upon other reports from yesterday it seems we were too shallow. We fished hard all day bouncing from spot to spot.

We had a great time and definitely enjoyed getting on the water.

For the record, it was a 29" gag, not 28".
And a great day on the water with great folks. It had been way too long since I had been fishing so I was happy to be catching grunts and rock bass -- the grouper was just a bonus fish. A little wet and bumpy on the way in but the cold beer at the end of the trip more than made up for that.
