Jeff, and anyone else reading this thread, no offence intended. It's just that a dumb individual like myself, someone dumb enough to own 2 boats, and requires a substantial tow vehicle, falls into the "Misery Loves Company" catigory.

TC,

No Offense was taken, I was just playing' with you, especially since after a year of reading your posts silently I see that you're one that someone can tease. Trust me, last year I was looking at a 26' with a nice Yamaha 200 4 stroke that was two years old on the lot and he hadn't gotten rid of it, it was reduced to 38G. I would have driven off the lot with that boat had I been able to afford the 40K truck to tow it :smt010 Note, this was a week after I bought my cavalier, my first personally purchased car. I'm envious of your plight with the boats and their turmoils. Everyone tells me as I'm looking at boats that a mans best two days are the day he buys his boat and the day he sells his boat. To me that statement means that man had a lack of constitution to do what he really loved or he didn't really love it. I took 10 minutes of not being able to see land that made the IWANNA monster bite me.
Being claustrophobic the thought of NOTHING but sea for 60 miles in any direction made me feel more at peace than I had ever felt. I didn't even mind the salt spray. There are only two things keeping me from getting a boat tomorrow. Money and knowledge. I don't have the know how of what to look for yet, or the money to get what I probably should for safety. I just had to tease you about the import statement, a rice burner doesn't seem like something you'd own if you didn't have a boat to haul.:smt082 One day I would love to share the misery of boat ownership with you, hopefully it will happen soon. My wife calls me browsing the boat listsings "boat porn." I did something really stupid and got married first, now I need permission to buy a boat. :hammer:
