Carrabelle 4-4 & 4-5-05 (1st Cobia)

Post by Sea Fox »

Went out Sun. and found the pins the ran WOT to the Yamaha and the bite was on but mostly short AJs and grouper. It had been awhile since I had been out so it was hard to leave biting fish, but we went to another spot or two and got a total of 5 keepers, all gags. Mon. my wife and kids were on board and we had a great time catching alot of fish, reds, sheephead, grunts, flounder, spades, and my wifes first grouper and cobia that was 1 inch short. She has informed me we need to go fishing everytime it 2ft or less. P.S. the water temp was 68.5 and the water outside the Islands is a pretty green. 8)

Yes we did, we caught several in 60 to 70ft and they ate live pins and frozen sardines. All we got would have been keepers two weeks from now.
