I want to post an OFFICIAL PROTEST!!!
After the fish weigh I saw a bunch of lead fall out of one fish, and a bunch of pennies fall out of another!!!
Now I've seen a lot of things in my life, even been to three worlds fairs. But I've never seen someone use a trout as a tackle box, or a change purse for that matter. :o
I plan to take my case to the Grand Poobah of the NFGFC, now that I'm an official member. If'n I am wrong, and Tom keeps his loose change in the innards of a trout, instead of a wallet, then he needs some help. That's downright unsanitary, and can't smell very good either. :-D
That was a nice stringer of fish, good job guys.

Cangrats. I had a good time. I wish I could've stayed for the fish fry but I had to get home at a decent hour.

Very nice!
Maybe he was learning to fish all these months of not posting on the site. Fine. TK has reasserted his offical professional credibility and we can all look forward to his regular contribution to educating us about fishing!

Congratulations Tom  .

rocket, you had me going there, until you mentioned the pennies falling out of the fish.
Everyone knows that Tom is too mean to put pennies in fish. :-D :-D

Thanks everyone, however, I deserve very little credit. Butch was the man driving the boat. All I did was chunk and wind. Butch put us on the fish, even suggested the bait to use. He has forgotten more stuff about fishing than I can ever hope to learn.

He did teach me that I should get back to fishing places that I used to fish back in the day. Most all the places we went to were places I fished 8-10 years ago when I only fished out of my jon boat. The fish were there then and they are there now. I guess I just wanted to broaden my horizons when sometimes I should narrow my focus.

Narrow the focus. Rings a bell. The jon boat reflection might not be a bonifide release of secret info but a cryptic read into it paints a puzzle piece that I bet a kayak can put together.
