You guys should join a local fishing club so that you can meet some members and join with them in fishing local areas. One club that comes to mind is North Florida Gulf Fishing Club. They meet every 3rd Thursday at Beef O'Bradys on Thomasville rd. in Tallahassee at 6:30pm.
Boatless fisherpeople often have the opportunity to fish with boated fisherpeople.
Hope to see you there.

Wade Fishing Report

Post by dave7 »

Did some wading out at Wakulla Beach on Sunday afternoon / evening. Got there just as the tide was starting to head back out. Still a lot of water down there on a high tide. Talked to about 8 folks who were headed back in as I was headed out. I think between those 8 folks I heard of about 4 fish caught and all of those small ones. Not very good odds going into the bit.... I fished from 3:30 til 6:30 and tried about every thing in my arsenal and about everywhere I could wade / cast to and still got skunked. It was a nice day to be out - and got to watch a pod of dolphins herding and attacking a school of mullet just out from the boat ramp. First time seeing that before.
