This is my first post here. I felt I needed to return the favor of the guys posting the last week or two. I finally got the boat in the water again Sun and Mon out of Shell Island. We were on the water at 7am, me, a friend and our three boys ages 4 to 9. After all the recent reports we headed just east of the Grey Mare. It was cool and a little rough. We quickly caught a keeper Spanish on a shrimp under a CT. We started cast Mirrow lures but switched to SWA's and caught an occasional keeper. Actually until mid afternoon, most of the trout we caught were 14-21". The bigger trout were consistantly in 5-7 ft of water. Mid afternoon we caught a bunch of throw backs. Ended up with 12 trout and 7 Spanish in the cooler by 4 pm. The fish seemed to be in that cloudy water people had mentioned last week. Similar results and conditions on Monday 8trout and 4 Spanish by noon.

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
