Charisma - Mexico Beach
Our company is going offshore out of Mexico Beach with Charisma Charters on Saturday 4/16. I've heard good things about them. Anyone have any stories or input regarding Charisma? I'll be heading down to do some inshore fishing on Friday. I'm thinking of fishing SJB or hitting Econfina on the way. I just read some good reports from you guys on both locations. Planning to stay and fish inshore on Sunday also - weather permitting.

NICE BOAT
We have fished with them 3 times. That was a great choice!
They are really nice people, just remember dont snatch
when you get a bite, they use circle hooks and i had never used one before, they will ride you hard about that in a joking way, just adding a lilttle humor to the trip!
you can catch a varity of fish, grouper, tuna, kings, we even caught 4 octupus. you will have a great time!

CHARISMA CHARTERS
Two buddies of mine and our sons (total of 6) went out with Charisma charters last June. Nice folks. Know what they are doing. Their intent, stated up front, is to fill up the box (about 250 - 300 lbs). They knew exactly where to go, and what we would hook up with. We could have caught 500 lbs of fish, but they pulled anchor a couple times as boats were moving towards us, and as we approached the "limit". Actually came in early (after box was filled as advertised). I felt we could have stayed a couple put at a couple locations to catch schooling dolphin and passing kings, but the Skipper had a plan. Overall a good trip, and they will put you on fish.
Side note: I took my flats boat with me a couple days early and fished for trout. Did O.K. (few keeper trout) considering we had no idea where to fish.
Not sure where in Leesburg you are located, but we are located off Philema.
