It was a tuff morning :-D Fly balls, grounders, uncovered bases :o oh yea, this is fishin, not softball :smt011 We hit the water around 1pm with a brisk wind blowing "me, the wife and daughter", went strait to where I thought the fish should be "and a little wind protection" :-D rifted 1.3 foot ta 11 foot with NO bites, went to in front of Piney Island and drifted simular water, NO bites, folks getting restless :smt014 go back to where we started and tell em we'll drift to the main channle and go home :-D about half way through the drift, my CT goes under, set the hook and drag SINGS  about 5 seconds into the glory, I feel the tell, tell sighn of pump, pump, run :o either a Cat or a Shark, the youngin grabs the net and awaits the catch :-D  20 foot from the boat, with the pole still bent and several runns, the girl starts hollering for MOMA to take the net, cause it's a BIGUN :smt007 I convince her ta hold the net till he's about 6 foot from the boat and she hands me the net :o Got him on board amongst much hooping and hollering :-D and am eating him as we talk :smt025 he was the only bite in the 2 1/2 hours we where out there :smt011 But he shure taste good and it only took 10 minutes to clean the slime from the project boat
