A bay charter

Post by 1-850-Bay-Fish »

Took off today from downtown ramp. Headed up into the bay searching for big trout in water 3 to 5 feet. I ended up with about 30 small trout. Got board with the trout so headed out towards the point. Trolled a hurricane gold color and took one nice king right away. Put out a tree rig with the hurricane and the battle began. Spanish of all sizes 3 and 4 at a time. Got board with the Spanish as quick as I did with the trout. Put on a chrome hurricane to troll with the gold. Hooked up on one more good king and as I was landing her something cut off the chrome hurricane or the line broke. It may have even been a bad knot tie up. The water temp 66 SE winds 10 to 15 and back at the dock by 10:00 am in Port st joe.

Good deal. Good to see the Spanish finally turning on and the Kings showing up.
