Surface temps

Post by bait boy »

How many of you guys and gals use surface temps for offshore fising? Like would you head west for warmer water versus going to you favorite spot? Here is a link as to what i am referencing http://fermi.jhuapl.edu/avhrr/gm/05apr/ ... short.html

Thanks Bait Boy

That's a pretty good site, but I like this one better. http://marine.rutgers.edu/mrs/sat_data/ ... on=alabama
Click on a pass(pic) that is complete in the area of interest and take a look. They are larger and temps are in Fahrenheit, eliminating the conversion from Celsius. Look s to be reasonably accurate, too.
