Aucilla catch'in
Went to Aucilla yesterday with Dad and one of his friends. Got there about 8 Am, tide falling but plenty of water(unlike our friend in the previous post). Got 2 bigguns close to mouth, water got rough so tried the Rock Garden. Must have caught 100 smaller trout in 4-5 ft. out from Cobb's Rocks. Kept 4 about 16''. Went back toward Aucilla about 3 pm, got 2 more big trout about 3 lbs. Water rough most of the day, Southeast wind. Quit at 4:30 with 10 keepers, lots of fun even with a rough ride.Water still stained but clearing some.

even when you get out of the river you have to be careful on low tide. Those rocks move around a little.
I was there in the same boat as Reb. It was like fishing in a barrel full of fish when we got into those twerps. Jumptrout is right.....short..short...short and then a barely keeper....short...short...short....keep one. Most all day like this. Rough too.
