my father went down to keaton this past weekend to do some service on the merc. he changed the plugs and serviced the foot, he noticed that the wiring from the stater to the power pack were melting. i am pretty sure thats what he said, i have no clue about anything on the motor, and he was telling me all this over the phone, so i could have this all wrong! he said that it has six wires male an female plugs and something about a clear housing, does anybody have any idea what he is talking about and where could i find these wires.
the motor is a 1997 200 offshore merc.
