2true and me went fishing Sunday afternoon. It was my first time fishing with Dave and he is good company to have aboard and a good photographer. Put the boat in at the lighthouse at 2:45pm on a falling tide and started on the western flats. I was the first to hook-up with a short on a candy-corn under a CT. Drifted over a few oyster bars and found a large school of Mullet. 2true used his cast net and picked up 3 mullet. After we got in behind the oyster bar we got several bites but no hook-ups. 2true spotted a large green greedy gusts bobber that appeared to have a fish connected to it. Tried to get a closer look and realized it was floating in 12â€

   WTG, guys. Nice report. My wife will be jealous when she sees that gar, she's caught some big ones on the flats.
I like that big trout, too. We didn't get any that big Saturday.

Thanks Dixie...

I wish we had been out there today. Could have slayed them on a rising tide, and trailerd the boat with ease...
