Anky Best 5 limit....

Post by RHTFISH »

Got to THE HIDEOUT at Anky about noon on Thurs and headed
out about 1:30 to west about 2 miles and started drifting about
4 feet with tough wind blowing toward the hill. In 3 hours had
nice limit and numerous shorts and a couple breakoffs from
something. Jig under CT popping between the waves only thing
that worked.

Returned to same area about 11:00 on Friday and between
12:30 and 3 caught my best 5 limit ever. Actually culled some
17-18s to keep a limit of 4 between 19.5 and 19.75 and a
22 to finish it out. One of those times a fisherman dreams about. :-D

Saturday began with the first dead calm water I've seen in weeks and
weeks. Of course, nothing started biting until wind started picking
up and tide moving about noon. Another easy limit of nice fish
and numerous shorts until deciding to call it a day at 3.

Great weekend for sure! Saturday there were the most boats out
of Anky I've seen in a long time.
