Count me among the 200+ boats that were out there this Sat and Sun. Never seen so many trucks and trailers all along the roadside...
Anyway, me, my dad and brother fished Sat and Sun off the Piney Pt area. Both days caught a couple nice fish early in close and moved out to 4-5 feet as the sun got up and boats started buzzing around. Caught lots of blues and ladyfish and a few nice Spanish. Trout were everywhere - many were shorts, but most weren't short by much (13-15 in). Saturday caught approx. 40 keeper sized fish between the 3 of us and Sunday fished til around 1 with about 25 that would have kept. Weather was great and the fish were biting - can't ask for much better of a way to spend a weekend. Majority of fish were caught with straight jighead/grubs.

What color? Were you using CT's?

color, style, size, etc, did not matter much. Bounced the jigs along the bottom w/o a CT. Heck, when we were in the middle of them, you could throw a piece of a jig out there and get hit.
