Got the chance to go out with a couple of great guys and friends, Art and Mark. Left the Lighthouse at 9:30am headed to the West flats, started catching right off, we were able to get a couple nice trout in the box quickly so that we knew dinner was taken care of. We then tried to get creative and try other stuff. Tried the east flats, lots of ladyfish and hard tail jacks, fun but not dinner. Decided to troll for macks, caught nice keeper trout on a spoon, anchored up and started catching some trout, blue fish, macks, rock bass, ladyfish almost everything but catfish.
Lots of fun, bite was almost none stop most of the day.
Final total 4 blues, 5 macks, 6 trout up to 22 inches, a nice mess of fish. Great day on the water with good friends.

Nice job Rx-

How deep were you?

Rising or falling tide?

Thanks-

Got out there the last couple hours of the high tide in 5 feet,
moved out to about 6 to 8 feet with the falling tide.
I think using fishoil as chum kept the bite on.

RX

Did you finally get into fish on east flats or going back to west? Hope the bite holds (weather too) for the weekend.
