I'm confirmed now instead of a possibly/maybe. Just need to make sure I can find some fish so it's not just a sight-seeing trip.

I was going to be a Captain this year, but my brother is coming to town and we are going fishing together that day. We only get that chance once a year, and we have a good time. He taught me how to fish when I was 9.

At least I caught one. Mine didn't come out of a crab trap.

The Tin Can method for successful flats fishing: 1) Go South. 2) Use any lure as long as it's chartreuse. 3) Make sure your shoes and bag match your dress. Never fails (well, almost never). :-D

Many thanks for your overwhelming response and participation in this event. I can't say how EXCITED the kids are!!!

I'm already thinking about next year and would like to go on a drive to get more of our captains as sponsors for these kids. It's a simple background check with fingerprinting paid for by the Baptist Children's Home. See me or call me any time for the details on how to do this.

HERE ARE SOME PARTICULARS FOR TOMORROW:

No scratching; no farting; no swearing; no cussing; no drinking.
Dunking allowed! You must have fun! And don't come back without an adventure story!

By the way, rumor has it, that if your kid misbehaves, he might not show up back at the hotdog roast! 17 going out - how many coming back?!?!? :-D
