[6/16] King Mackerel- The winner is....

Post by qoutrage »

Thought y'all might like to see the KM winner of the BBSC 2-3 days early. (Just Kiddin')
Neighbor, Freddy, and Charley E of Lanark, put in there this morning- Went out about 7 or 8 miles and had a lucky streak over a 32 foot bottom. This is one of the two kings, they caught-

34lbs and 49"- a lot bigger out there, but still a nice fish.
_______ Image

-Along with a cobia near 20lbs, 1 S/M 3-4lbs, and 4 gags to 27".
All this in about 3 and a half hours and with a fuel burn on the 150 Yammie of less than 12 bucks.
All were caught off the bottom with cut LY's.
You notice they had to cut the tail off th big sucker to get her in the cooler. Both kings were females.

It'd been me, I'd a thown the big one back.. ___  They tried to get me to go, but noooo, I had to stay home and do a project.

Yeah JC, Freddy is something of a wildman on the water. We been trying to get him to buy a lot over in Panacea on Fishing Fool Street. :-D
You hit the nail on the head. 'Wat'ser name' has something for me to do every day. Along with my own projects, it has been a busy time for me, lately. That, and I spent a couple of weeks in N Ga cleaning and fixing.
With all this going on, I haven't been doing much fishing, and had to lay off the computer a little, too.
Excuses, excuses- I'll try to do better...
