Butch and I fished St. Joe Bay Friday and Saturday for trout. In the 2 days we caught nearly 200 trout. Only 4 over 20" and only 1 of those big enough to make the drive to the scales. It weighed in at 5.15 pounds. We came in 2nd place overall behind the first place weight of 5.20 pounds. Other stuff we caught were :blues, flounder, redfish, pompano, skipjacks, sharks, catfish.

Birddog, the water was nasty looking in most places. We only caught trout where we could find something that resembled clear.

I hadn't heard about the dirty water JT. I'm down there for 4 days this week. This is terrible news.

Birddog, the west side of the bay near the state park may be your best bet. Of course it could clear up by the time you arrive.
