Carrabelle Boat Storage

Post by EddieJoe »

I am thinking about storing my boat (on the trailer) in or around Carrabelle or Lanark. I have looked at the Boat Barn (roofed, open sided storage area) located about a mile west of the bridge in Carrabelle. There are two phone numbers on the sign near US 98 but both have been disconnected.
1)does anyone know how to contact these folks? And, or;
2)are there other, similar possibilities in the Lanark/Carrabelle area? I would like a covered, lockable spot for on-trailer storage. Even someone's yard might work. Boat would be a 19.5' cc.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

That is where I have been keeping my boat and I had to call them to find out that they have sold that and I think they are going to build condos there. I have been looking for similar storage in that area, but have not been successful yet. If I find anything I will pass it along.

These areas are going to get next to impossible to find storage and if found you will pay top dollar. The Moorings has officialy been sold and the area were boats are stored on trailor, by the ramp, will become townhomes. Notification has been given that they have until Jan 2006 to be out. Everyone I have talked to that keeps a boat there is looking for storage in Carabelle and Lanark.
