Anybody know where I can find a meat grinder in a store around here? I want to mount one on a cutting board for chumming. I see Bass pro and Cabelas sell them as a package but for like $100 bucks. I have found meat grinders online for $20 bucks but they cost $12-20 to ship since they weight so much. Theres gotta be a store that sells them if not I'll have to make a trip to the flea market or something.
Thanks Atticus that would be helpfull, although all the ones I've found at restaraunt equiptment places have been a little higer quality and price than my pinfish need to be ground up in. I don't think they will care. The 32# one looks ok, I see he has a couple more that haven't been bidded up yet. I'll keep an eye on those. Does anybody know if the smaller ones work ok at gringing fish? There seems to be quite a few of the smaller antique ones and they are pretty cheap. I just wander if the cutters will go through the fish bone. It probably wouldnt matter the bones are pretty small in most baitfish.
I bought a #32 at tractor supply in Albany for $39. mounted it on a piece of starboard with an old rod butt bolted to the bottom. Now I have the same thing they charge $200 for in the catalogs.
