A little off-topic, a little off-geographical focus, but I hope you guys and gals won't mind. This is still a fishing report :D

I went to see my father on Dauphin Island for the weekend with a couple of buddies to try our luck offshore. Plus, my dad had informed me that he is selling his boat and buying something a little smaller so, I thought it might be the last time that we head that far South together. As it turned out, the wind was whipping pretty good on Saturday morning so we didn't go much further than 10 miles. We tried trolling dusters and cigar minnows and tried a little slow trolling of live bait but didn't end up anchoring or tying up to and rigs due to the waves. However we did limit out on King (mostly small school king) but it was wonderful nonetheless. Here are some pics ....
