Fishing PC without a boat

Post by georgiasportsman »

That's what I will be doing June 22-25. Actually it's a mini vacation with my wife and another couple. The problem is I cannot spend 3 days within sight of saltwater and not attempt to catch something. I've been to Panama City numerous times, but I've never fished the area. I need some help from all of you. My fishing opportunities will be limited (only when I can sneak away) so I want the time I have to be productive.

St. Andrews park is an okay place, then you have the piers, fishing the flats around the Dupont bridge (the one at Tyndell) is suppose to be good, it drops off quick so be careful...Places to fish are limited, alot of private property....I do better at Mexico Beach....

Fish off the pier in PC at night. I've had great luck every time I've been. Stop by a bait shop and pick up some squid and frozen shrimp. I've caught trout, bluefish, spanish, sheeps, and sharks off the pier!
