I second that , they have lots of traps all the time, Red seems the best color and make sure you get the built in bait holder, its worth the little extra. Speaking of pinnfish traps, we fished a lot of hours Saturday while the wind was howling catching loads of pinnfish for Sunday. We probably put 150 or so in our trap, dropped and marked it. Hit it early Sunday, and some nice fellow had relieved us of about 70 of them. At least he left us some and didn't take the trap. A  to all the thoughtful thieves out there... Just don't let me catch you being either one... frank

Mark your basket with a clear bottle and a GPS....Makes it harder to the bandits to rob you.....Red baskets always seem to catch more fish

Fished with a guy in Pensacola who didn't mark them at all.

He used a gaff, picked them up at low(er) tide.

Also used the clear bottle trick with GPS and it worked too. Had a hard time seeing that bottle even when I was right on top of it.

Well i guess what can you expect with the 4th of July crowd out.. :-D
A few too many people for my liking anyway. We were able to catch bait offshore also and grunt fillets were really working well this weekend or should i say , better than usual.
