This is the first year I have had a boat and I don't know how to protect it against hurricane damage. Anyone have suggestions on measures one can take to protect their boat when it is kept outdoors? I live in Tallahassee and don't have it in a garage....
Thanks in advance!

About the best I can do is, locate away from trees if possible, fill with water if it's a fairly light boat "makes it harder to blow around" remove the batteries "don't want them under water" and pray

“Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.”

My hurricane preparations include the following:
Call your insurance company and make sure you are covered and all payments are up to date.
Hook the boat to the truck and load up everything I have to have.
Leave
Don't come back until things are cleaned up and power and water are restored.
Thats for storms three and above.
