Lake Jackson ?

Yea I know it aint salty but has anyone been by or fished Lake Jackson lately ? Got enough water to launch a bass boat at Sunset ( or anywhere else) and find fish ? Thanks for any replies.

Lake Jackson is still extremely low. The canal at sunset is dry. The entire lake is Grown over with dog fennels and willow trees. There is no good place to launch a bass boat, and you would probably run it aground, anywoy. There are people fishing the lake in small boats, and catching fish. Next Saturday is the opening day of duck season. There have been lots of duck hunters on the lake for the past 3 years. It's a good place to hunt, now that there's plenty of cover above the water to hide in.
