Fish finder problems

Post by Fishman »

Hopefully someone out there can help me on this.Let me start at when the problem started, was out fishing caught a nice bluegill put him in the livewell and hit the switch to pump some water into the livewell no power turned out a losse fuse was the problem. That problem solved but as soon as that was fixed my fish finder quit working.Got the boat home and nothing power would work.I replaced the fuse panel and put all new fuses in.Turns out that the power wire from the fuse panel to the ignition had come loose hook it back up and had power. But the fish finder was getting power to the head but nothing would come up on the screen. Its a Humminbird 565 a year old I check the wires running to the transducer there good.Does anyone have any ideas of what could be the problem?I was thinking the transducer but its only a year old could it go out that quick?Sorry this is so long just trying to give a much info as i can with the hope someone might have a clue about this.

I assume you've determined that there are no more inline fuses between the fuse panel and the unit its self? Since you've got power at the head probably not. NEVER MIND
