St. Theresa Wade Fishing 7/17/2005

Wow. Did A tsunami hit the coast down there? Their are no more piers or docks, The cops won't let you into Mashes Sands or Alligator Point.

If you need some free wood it is on the side of the road out 98!

Went to the "spot" on St. Theresa. Two fallen pine trees in the path and the beach is about 20 yards longer. :o I was tripping over all kind of junk in the water (tires, limbs, refuse ect.) :smt013 that wasn't there pre-storm.

Anyway got out and it was real low tide. (we got there about 4 pm) I managed to catch an 18in and a 15in trout. :lick: Couple shark break offs. Real pretty out there.

Totals (including my buddies)

16in
15in
18in trout

4 nice mullet

small shark

catfish (t00 many)!

That surge had some power. It wasn't just rising water.

Very cool 2true. Nice to get a mental picture of how the spot has changed. Congrats on makin' it down to the water! Did you bring your usual array of gear all the way out? I guess, gettin' mullet, you had a cast net....

Nice to get keeper trout in there. Up further, in "my spot," I haven't had a keeper trout in a long, long time...... Reds, but no trout.... ???
