I've never heard of a boat made by OMC. OMC was a large corporation that owned Evinrude/Johnson and a lot of boat manufacturers before they went bankrupt and Bombardier bought them. Bombardier got the Evinrude/Johnson name, but I believe that the different manufacturers were sold to the highest bidder. Some of their boats weren't bad and some were. I'm sure others can provide more info.

Do you mean an actuall boat line called OMC or lines owned by OMC. For example If I remember correctly Hydra Sports and Neptune were both owned and made by OMC, I think Seaswirl was as well but I'm not positive. I always liked the Hydra Sports and heard good things about them don't know much about the Neptunes. I think the Neptunes used to be called something else like Sunbird or something. They used to sell all the OMC boats at Bellflowers a few years back. I am now renting our house from the Bellflowers I could find out, but I'm sure he'd say they were good boats as that's what he sold.

Also I believe the Stratos bass boats were OMC as well, and the sunbird runabouts.

Thanks for the info. I called Bellflower, and they said that it's a good boat for the money that I'm looking at paying, as long as everything checks out.
