St Teresa 8/14/05 or Look What I caught in the Cast Net.....

Post by 2true »

Went fishing in the evening and tore up the catfish, sharks and stingrays. :o

Saw a BIG kingfish sky right by the beach!

Bait everywhere, one cast of the net I caught 100 LY's.

Another cast of the net I caught this: Image

Also I have been invited to go fishing in NC Alantic Beach area offshore. It going to be on a 35-40 ft boat. This guy has 1300$ fishing poles. He fishes in Marlin tournaments regulary. I think Tuna will be the main target. I gotta check the weather and such. What is too high of seas?

I am checking NOAA in that area before I go. (probably last weekend of the month)

I have never done any offshore fishing of this type. Any tips?

Peas...

I used to be in the Coast Guard. My first search and rescue case was 20ft seas in a 44ft boat.

That's twice as good as 44 foot seas in a 20' boat.
