Apologize for the short fuse, but I'm going this afternoon.
Let me know if anybody can go and I'll send a message with my phone #. We can work out the details.
If I don't hear from anybody I'm leaving my house at 2:30 (2 hrs from right now) and walk in somewhere. Haven't decided where, it depends on the wind.
If somebody let's me know something I'll wait another hour or so if need be.
If anybody wants to go and wants to bring a boat, I have access to a semi-private ramp near where I think we should try it and I have access to nearby private property where we can park. I'm not big on boat riding around the bay. When I go, it's to catch fish.
I realize that on this short notice, everybody that's going has probably gone, but if anybody wants to learn some spots I fish give me a holler on the messages.

Found some fresh hog sign on the way in. Later in the year I may have to add a pump 12 to my fishing tackle for walking back through there.
Other than that, you guys didn't miss a thing. I think this claim done run dry. Gonna have to go find another one. Caught 2 reds, both on a chrome TopDog Jr. in knee deep water so muddy you couldn't see bottom. The first was over the slot and was released. The second was in the slot on the small side and released because I thought I would get a bigger one. That's what I get for thinking. Later on I picked up a small trout, the only trout this time, on a 52M26 MirrOLure. Pretty stiff wind out of the ESE made casting difficult for a while and stirred the bottom up. Around 6:30 it started tapering off and shifted more out of the NW.
Actually, I'm kind of surprised this one spot produced so well for as long as it did.
Something BIIIG blew the water up a couple times out in front of where I was today. Never saw a porpoise so I'm thinking a shark or maybe a tarpon. Saw terns diving on bait all over the bay. Only saw a couple macs jump, but they're hard to see when it's choppy like that.
It's pouring rain here right now. According to the Wakulla News high tide's at 8. I'm most likely in for in the morning. Anybody else? I'll check back here, messages and e-mail before I go. It ain't gonna' be no crazy time like 0 dark thirty.
