Catching larger pinfish and some blue runners?

Going to head out of St George this weekend, hoping to improve on the previous attempt, but thinking we will need some better/larger baits. Most of the pinfish we caught on the bayside of the island near the cut were relatively small, so we would like to upsize our bait and add some blue runners if possible. Anyone have some tips on where/how to go about doing this?
