Charles Pulley and I put the boat in at about 8 this morning. We saw fish moving before we got out of the Shell Poit channel. Drifted a little and caught a couple of trout. Moved on to our first stop in search of reds. Charles managed one short. Then the fishing went downhill. We fished several places during the rising, high, and falling tide. Nada! We could not find the reds today. We did make a couple of drifts and picked up several short trout and 3 keepers. Put the boat back on the trailer at around 4:30.
Charles I enjoyed having you aboard with me today. It's a pleasure to fish with a fisherman, even on a bad day.

What was I supposed to do today?
My brother "over at Sheilds" said that the red tide had come within about fourty yards of the mouth of Saint Marks
that may have em moved further out or further in

Appreciate you taking me, TC. Great day on the water.
I find it very interesting how the same place I was walking into to wade fish last week and doing so well on the reds and big trout was a place you have done well on before.
It was a S-L-O-W day for reds. Next time we'll get an earlier start for them.
All, the trout were hitting out in the bay in around 4' of water over grass in the middle of day, which tells me they were probably hitting all day long. TC caught most of them on a jig under a Cajun Thunder. I caught a very few on a 52M26 MirrOLure. Nothing big, though.
Again, great day on the water with a great fisherman. Thanks, TC.
