any southerner from this area would of understood perfectly that JT ment the thurs. of the following week when he said next thurs, if he were refering to the thurs of the current week he would of said this thurs. Now to understand the past, with this being thurs. if a southerner from this area said last tuesday that would mean the tues. of the previous week and if he said this last tues. that would mean the tues. of the present week, because the word THIS would indicate the current week, with this being thurs if I wanted to refer to wed of this week I would simply say yesterday and not this last wed anotherthing not to be confused with is the accuracy of the rulers atop a cooler lid
