1st boat out of the lighthouse this morning. Headed east and started casting the shoreline near Stoney Bayou, working my way back west. Found a school of reds, (actually they found me) near Horn's Creek. Managed to boat 5 before the tide fell out.
Headed back west and up the St. Marks River to a creek I had been wanting to explore. Found a couple of reds and managed to land 1 more. With the tide falling out I nearly didn't get back out the creek and thought I was going to be there awhile.
Loaded up and headed out by 12:30. Beautiful morning. I hope this weather holds for a while. Can't wait until next time.
Total for the morning
6 redfish (14"-25" all caught on a gold spoon -the 14 "er had 26 spots, broke my personal best by 16 spots)
1 trout (17" caught on Topdog jr.)
