federal vs state regulations ?

federal vs state regulations ?

yes...I'm still a little confused :oops: During Nov/Dec can you keep grouper in state waters ???? Which would include up to 9 miles off shore ? " Off shore" from a barrier island...say Dog Island ? If so....would the grouper limit of 5 per person be in effect ? Thanks....Tom :smt006

Islands will not be true measurements and its 9 naut. miles, which is 10.33 miles if that helps you any. I think there is another meeting on rules & regs today which could change something, it was the FWC so we will see, from what i understand its still 5/2 in state waters.
