Got the chance to take my wife out, we fished the couple hours before and after the high tide, hoping the wind would keep the bugs at bay and get her into some redfish. I love when things work out.

She caught two, one in the slot and a 21 inch trout.

She let me catch a couple reds and a surprise flounder.

At slack tide we headed for the flats, hoping for some more trout
caught about a dozen for the day, but no keepers, lots of bait around
and LOTS of grass, had to use jigs all day. I love using plugs and
a spoon would have been nice up the creeks, but not possible with all the grass. Also caught a few small sharks. Great day on the water, it was cooler when we left in the afternoon than when we got there. Fall is in the air. Nice time with my wife, can't wait to get back.

You folks every notice how the camera is always pointed OUT TO SEA when pictures of the Red's are taken :o
