Teacher's Planning Day - St. Mark

Post by The Business »

My daughter had the day off from kindergarten so we headed down to St. Marks for some father daughter time. I'm not to familiar with the area, but we started our drifts east of the lighthouse in front of an old channel maker. It was non-stop trout from 11:00 until we left at 1:00. A myriad of 14 " at first and then some really nice fish. 4 keepers close to 20 and of the course my big daddy slot fish got released when I tried to swing him into the boat instead of using the net. One mackerel cutoff and no reds. All of are fish were caught on CT's and shrimp. What's the best way to target and catch reds around St. Marks? A wonderful day spent with my fishing princess!!! :D
