We got to Lanark about 10:00 on a LOW tide. We stocked up on Ly's and squid and headed on out to 40 ft. that produced some nice grouper a few months ago. About 2 miles before we got to the spot, I decided to drop a stretch 30 out the back to see if there we any takers. About .2 from the spot, a nice spanish decided to hit.

We got anchored up on the spot but marked no fish and got no bites. After 30 minutes, we decided to move on to spot #2.
We anchored up on spot #2 and only managed a few bites with only 1 nice rock bass. Again, after 30 minutes of a slow bite, we decided to move on.
The seas were a bit rough (compared to the 1-2 ft. seas forecasted

We caught most of the grouper in 70 ft. and LY's were the bait of the day. Towards the end of the day, they picked up on the squid when we ran out of LY's. We ended up with a 3 man limit on grouper 22" - 35"(all gags), 4 red snapper, 1 spanish mack, 5 triggerfish and a huge shark.
